Hey Everyone,

Currently on 14.3.1 and I’ve noticed a significant difference in regen breaking from previous versions. I thought I noticed something on the previous update but now I’m absolutely certain that the breaking is much softer. Initially, it was strong and aggressive in comparison to our Y and X but now it seems quite similar. This isn’t temperature, gradient or battery charge correlated as it’s just different/softer than before.

Wondering if anyone else has noticed this or if my old age is interfering with my reality! ?

I've noticed it too a few updates ago, I even asked the tech at a service call if there was a way to turn it back up, I preferred the stronger regen and felt like I needed to use the brakes more often (Until I adjusted to the new feel)

Noticed on mine too. Maybe 2 versions back. Bummer as now the brake dust seems to pile up more frequently on the rims... to be cleaned more often.

I feel like FSD actually be applying breaks vs getting as much regen as it could had it started sooner or more aggressive regen.

Having to use brakes little more often helps keep brake rotor from forming rust.
