Software update hiatus

I have not had a software update since 14.2.2.2. I was receiving updates every couple of weeks with the first wide releases (non influencer). I have software update preference set to advanced. I've reconnected WIFI and restarted, but no luck. Any other ideas?

It seemed to stop updating after the truck went into the SC for a week to have PCS replaced. Is there any chance this is related?

Pull into the Abess Blvd service center in Jax and park near the building. If your system is functioning, it will hook up with their wireless network automatically and start downloading available updates. Might be slow but have done this successfully 5 times on road trip.

Call Tesla technical support, if you’re still not getting an update after the hard reboot.

I’m on 14.2.2.5 and I wish I had stopped updating a few updates back because it has progressively gotten worse.

I didn’t love the speed profiles, but they all worked good enough for me for the most part since 14.2.

But now I get a lot of random lane switching hesitation, even if there is no one in the lane I’m switching to.

In residential areas, the speed often goes slower than the posted speed limit at times. Even if I accelerate up to the speed limit, it will slowly decrease the speed back to 4-6 slower than the posted limit.

On the flip side for no obvious reason, it can also go way too fast in residential areas. Often 20-25 mph over the speed limit.

It never had been bad like this for me before the last couple updates.

I’ve tried resetting the cameras, the DAS, using Tesla toolbox 3 to update the cameras, etc. None of it helped.

I talked to tech support and they suggested service appointment. Once I created the service appointment, I got a new software push (it actually pushed 2025.24.7 again so perhaps something was hung up). Then the next day I got 2025.45.9.1. I suspect the fix was associated with scheduling appointment but there is a change it was coincidence. Weird, but glad I'm back on releases (despite some being better than others).

tbf I think we have been in a little bit of a lull when it comes to significant FSD updates. I just assumed that it has a lot to do with them ramping up robotaxi production and deployment.
