I know all the drawbacks. Time, capacity, ect. But for those of you who have used a solar generator (actually used one) to charge your trucks when parked, or at home using solar, maybe taken it camping, ect. Recommendations? I have my eye on the Ecoflow Delta 3 pro. Has 220. But the delta comes with an extra battery and 30 amp. I have heard that Anker has a nice unit. Jackery seems small but gets decent marks. Looking for suggestions.

I charge daily from a totally off grid solar generation setup.

I can get about 30KWH a day out of the system.

Components are mostly all Bluetti.

2 X AC500 running in split phase (10KW output max)
12 X B300K batteries
12 x 455w roof mounted solar panels

This is wired through a Bluetti connection panel and I have a Tesla wall charger hard wired.

Realistic charge rate holds @ 9KWH

Nice setup! I am contemplating an EV charge station myself. I’m in no hurry since power is 10c/kw but it would be nice to have emergency power to the house.

Wow - thats awesome being at 10 cents.
We are 5X more here so was a shorter leap for me to build this (and got another CB when they were doing free supercharging a while back)

Easy build. High power, and storage, mount and charge in the bed with solar or bed 240v while supercharging.

I am in the same boat. i want to give it go for remote dirt driving as an emergency limp out and keep the truck asleep thing. I can use it at my house when it isn’t along for the ride. I am currently looking at the Jackery Explorer 5000 plus. It has a much smaller form factor than the other split phase 240 power generators. From what I can tell, and the companies don’t make it easy to actually learn what their products do, the 5000 can dump a true 240 at 30 amps with a NEMA 14-50. 7200w constant. Unlike the others, t is a true 240 outlet. The box itself should give me 8 miles or so. Planning to have maybe 2000 w of solar. Maybe 1000 on the truck and 1000 portable. I am hoping to mount a panel on a rack over the passenger roof top as I use a RTT in the bed. Then mounting a soft panel on the tonneau for driving. Move that to over the windshield in camp. Maybe those flash cybertruckco panels on the frunk. Some combination. It should do maybe 20 miles on a great day. Stay at camp for three days and get 40-60 miles. I could add more solar if needed. It will run whatever I want to run. Heat, AC, pizza oven, hot water, foot massager, chocolate fountain, bouncy house, Skinwalker Ranch lasers, blow up futon sale man, etc…That is good enough for my purposes.
