You are legally required to be a minimum of "stopping distance" from the car in front of you. Loaded semi's aren't know for that:
A loaded semi-truck traveling at 65 mph in good conditions requires approximately 525 feet or 5-6 seconds to come to a complete stop. This is about the length of 1.5 football fields.
Agreed. This behavior by the CT FSD function isn’t good, but it isn’t “cutting off” which requires impeding the other vehicle’s progress.

I feel like there is a story you’re not telling us here. Do you get accused of cutting people off a lot or something? You’re not a Jewish Mohel are you?

Cutting off, not cutting off, potato potato, all I’m saying is that I preferred it when fsd let me limit how much of these decisions it makes on my behalf with the minimize lane changes check box.
