FSD 14.3.4: Ghost Pedestrians & Failure to Resume from Stop

Anyone else experiencing these two issues on FSD 14.3.4?


Ghost Pedestrians: The system occasionally visualizes a phantom human and brakes, forcing a manual takeover.


Traffic Resume Failure: When fully stopped in traffic, FSD fails to move when cars ahead start going. I have to nudge the accelerator to get it moving again.

I definitely noticed this happening to me pretty consistently also at the same spots it’s pretty consistent. Definitely did not have this issue on prior versions.

Always happens on my driveway when I pull out of the garage and hit the driveway… exact same spot . Never experienced this on version 14.3.3

I have had to nudge the CT forward at a stoplight a few times. Both on 14.3.3 and 14.3.4. I've also seen this in the latest 12 series in my MY.

My biggest issue so far in the 14.3.4 in the CT is not reading of speed limit signs. I noticed this is really bad if the speed limit sign is mounted further back from the road edge, or has unusual stuff around it. Iowa loves it's oversized speed limit signs placed far to the side in the ditch. FSD often ignores them.

Since the ASS add-on over the air update I have seen these ghosts, also experienced hesitation at stop signs and phantom breaking.

Since the ASS add-on over the air update I have seen these ghosts, also experienced hesitation at stop signs and phantom breaking.

Logged a bug report with Tesla this morning . Hopefully we get a resolution soon

FSD v14.3.4 is becoming unusable because the ghost pedestrian is almost happening every time at low speed .I miss V14.3.3….

I just had this Halle time tonight. Was at a red light. It turned greens don’t eh cars in front of me started moving but FSD didn’t. I had to nudge it a little to get to start moving. This hasn’t happened to me before 14.3.4
