Sun through window/thighs too hot

Is anyone else experiencing your legs getting too hot due to the window angle during the summer? I tend to have jeans on, and sitting waiting in the driver’s seat, or driving in the middle of the day my legs are getting unbearably hot. I’m debating trying a test piece of cardboard over the dash and steering column. Right now in FSD I alternate moving one or the other leg under the steering column to shade them. I can sit closer to the dash but it doesn’t seem to allow any more shade for my legs.

Do you have window tint. You should have window tint, I see too many CTs driving around without window tint. Go with the highest UV block you can. I have 70% tint on the windshield(98% UV block) and 30% on the rest. I feel no heat through the windows. Also increases your range.

Did it on my X back in 2020 and didn't think twice about doing the windshield on the CT. Big difference

Thanks. I’d heard of glass cracking, but now I see that focused on the roof. I’ll look for a place to take it. I’m glad I asked.
