In addition everything everybody else said: remember that your cybertruck is adjustable, height wise, I’m not sure how easy it is to adjust the height of this ladder.

probably doesn’t matter in your driveway but I could see circumstances where if you were off-road and using cybertent mode this thing may not touch the ground.

Anyone have input on how this could be installed on the CT? Are there mounting holes already in the tailgate?

Why do you need this? To get on the back, you turn around and sit on the tailgate. Then you spin on your butt. No need to do a push up. The only time you may need a ladder is when the CT is raised height… is that why you want it?

Well, it's definitely inexpensive, but it seems like more trouble than it's worth. Just use the phone app to put the truck to "Entry" ride height, open the tailgate, step on one of the bumper ends, grab by the aluminum attachment track running inside the bed and pull yourself up with your arm. The steps seem overly difficult and maybe even slightly dangerous.

I put one of the rope cleats included in the Foundation Series in the rearmost track position to act like a handle.

I had something very similar on a ram 1500. I did not leave it on there long. On the ram the cable, connecting the tailgate to the bed was in the way, so it was slightly dangerous, but beyond that it just rattled and was more of a pain in the ass being on the tailgate on the times where I didn’t need it than anything else. If you really need something, I would just look into a step that can fold down and you can keep in the hidden access area of the vault. How often are you really having to step into the bed?

Somebody figured out how to do this, just saw this in the reviews:

This was my solution. A little more low tech but works great.

The ladder fits easily in the storage cubby and weighs only 2.4 pounds.
I should note, I also find it useful when cleaning the windshield.

I do wish the CT bumper or tailgate had some of the bed step options offered by other pickup manufacturers.

Even on entry height, the CT is much harder to get in than trucks with a built in tailgate step. As someone with bad knees and back, it's one of my biggest complaints with the truck. The other companies all figured it out, with all the amazing tech in the CT, it's too bad it has the least innovative tailgate.

My F-150 is a 4x4 model which is to say it's considerably taller than the RWD models. In other words, the Cybertruck is far easier to get in/out of than my F-150. And no, I've never owned a pickup truck that had a built-in step. That's probably why I can get in/out without issue. The body adapts to what you ask of it.

Call me old-fashioned, but needing a step to get in or out of a pickup is the beginning of the end (of your life). I hope I'm still getting in/out of my pickups without assistance when I'm 75.

That being said, the integrated step in the tailgate that Ford has is one of the best designs out there. The Ram one is semi dangerous. I have never owned a Chevy or a Tundra so I have no idea how they solved it.
