Tailgate Shield delivery fail

I wasn't expecting any other packages so I know this is it, but Tesla didn't give tracking info, UPS said they delivered, camera doesn't show large package and now I can't find my $300 tailgate shield.

Anyone ever run into something like this with Tesla? How did you resolve it?

UPS wants a tracking number, and Tesla... as always, is impossible to get ahold of.

Tesla normally sends tracking information when things ship. I also believe that you can login on the web and look at the shipment information.

I had a HELL of a time with their 'customer service' dept with my big order. Just walk them through it logically "NONE OF THOSE BOXES ARE BIG ENOUGH" (in my case it was "SMALL ENOUGH" for the 'dog mode' figurine). Good luck. This experience was enough to tell me to never buy directly from their webstore ever again.

Yeah, kind of what I was expecting. I am assuming you didn't have tracking number either?

I just checked and when I login to the web store, it has all of my transactions, and the tracking numbers listed for each.

I usually DO get tracking numbers. I did on everything purchased with voucher. We'll see what happens. Tesla is going to escalate and see what they can do. She said it shows the same thing on her end.

If anyone else has purchased the tailgate shield, can you possibly (roughly) confirm the size of the box, or at least that it did come in a very large box?
