Temu has a lot of accessories

I finally followed a Temu link and nosed around yesterday. Tons of CT accessories for less than expected prices, and a few ship from "local" warehouses.

If I'm going to pay for a drop shipped part, may as well save some dough.

For me the unknown risks for a marginal price difference—often at the cost of your health, security, and long-term value, is almost never worth it

Most of it is junk. One of the vendors here that is gone now made a clip attachment for my phone. It broke. No longer responding to messages. One gets what they pay for.

I found a manufacturer here that makes all the stuff themselves here. None of this pre order wait for the boat to arrive crap. Do some research, it is worth the time.

There is no quality control from any vendor who drop ships from China. Ever notice how many different vendors carry the same product?

I was suspicious too, but Temu has US warehouses for some things and decent guarantees. Plus they accept PayPal so my info is safe.

Some products use the same product names as on Amazon. I am not ready to buy a big ticket item there, but made in China products are the same, regardless of where you buy them. There are plenty of vendors on this board that I trust (shout out to RPM Tesla) but do your homework. Some are just drop shippers, with longer lead times than Temu has.

RPM Tesla, T sportline, Evannex. Are all most in the same boat. They often tweak designs and send it overseas to be made with your dollars. Warehouses in the USA are just holding spots for the same junk of questionable materials.
