Took the dogs out of the city for the 4th of July weekend. Found an awesome dispersed site a short climb off a fire control road near the Mogollon Rim but nothing flat. Tent mode stepped up and said, "No problem."

Beautiful. We go up there a lot and tent mode is killer. What’s on fire? Can one camp at edge of the world still safely? They evacuated oak creek canyon the night after we camped there last. Or is that more the payson side of the rim?

I just love that it’s 30 deg cooler than Phoenix and just a little over two hours. Feels like a life hack.

I need to find a spot like that near me in So. Cal. If you haven't already, check out the electric grills, especially the Ninja 700. I use it more than the big BBQ and electric is so much easier and better than gas. The smoking feature makes delicious meats and super easy.
