For those who don't know, a software engineer at X got into a pissing contest with other co-workers about the active suppression of Grok responding to those questions (about South African genocide), and one of them overstepped company policy in the process. He was fired, new controls were put in place to prevent such a thing in the future. Literally happens all the time at major companies.

The idea that you are somehow using that one-off situation as a "ZOMG NO ELON BOTS IN MY HOUSE" is ridiculous and pedantic.

But anything to distract from the fact that I have asked several people on this thread to provide actual evidence of "Tesla lying to them" and all get is laughing emojis.

The number of “lost” Tesla-loyal customers is both greatly exaggerated and temporary. Consumers are very forgetful, and almost always make decisions based on personal interests.

Sure, and all those people who for years were anti EV because of purely political leanings? The anti Tesla sentiment from the beginning lasted to this day on the right, and many who now like what Elon is doing in other areas are still anti EV. That's not temporary.

You don’t get to reframe what I said to make your own political statement. I didn’t say Tesla lied about this, I said I don’t wanna hear Elon’s [OR ANYBODY’S] politics spontaneously because of a glitch, a rogue employee, or any other failure on behalf of the proprietor of the robot and I don’t trust that that won’t happen again with Tesla.
