Tesla app using too much iPhone battery?

My iPhone [15 Pro Max] has the latest Tesla app (4.35.1). Ever since this update, my phone has been constantly warm with depleting battery percentage, even when off. The Settings->Battery display shows that the Tesla app is using 71% of my battery—far more than anything else (next biggest energy hog is 7%).

Is anyone else noticing excessive battery consumption with the latest Tesla app (released today/yesterday)?

My wife's iPhone [14 Pro] is also experiencing similar problems with the latest Tesla app. We've already tried killing and restarting the Tesla app, as well as restarting our phones.

I am also on latest version. Last 24 hours Tesla app used 8%

try resetting your phone if you have not already

I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max (on iOS 18.0 Public Beta) running Tesla app v 4.35.1 and in last 24 hrs Tesla app is 5% of total battery usage.

I have same problem since Tesla app 4.35.1.

During the night when I was asleep, the battery went from 100% to 60% and the Tesla app has used all 40%.

It's funny, because one of the major things about the update is: To conserve the vehicle's battery, the app only wakes it when you send a command.
