Tesla canceled my solar roof

Not with LG panels unfortunately. Tesla has announced that it will not sell Powerwalls unless they are part of an order that contains PV as well. I suppose one could buy conventional panels from Tesla and get Powerwalls that way.

Interesting - is that a new policy? My parents had their system installed earlier this year with LG panels and a Powerwall.

Yes new requirements. Unless an installer already has it in stock but directly from Tesla, sells of power walls will only be with panels or roof.

Tesla canceled my solar roof because they couldn't be bothered to recheck the site to confirm I'd removed several shade trees from around my house...so a competitor got the contract, and Tesla lost a $40,000 job.

Now does that mean that you got another installer to put in Tesla tiles or did you have to go to another manufacturers panels?
