I saw that, my truck sits outside, but I still dont see putting a cover on / off on a regular basis so struggling to see the need for me personally.

Same - doesnt the metal resist the elemtents making this pointless a bit (Unless trying to keep clean I guess)

My truck’s window points South when it’s parked in my driveway. That big windshield heats up the cabin like a sun oven. A cover mitigates this somewhat .
