I have shopped this several times and never found them competitive. At least for our two model 3s in Houston, Tesla has very expensive coverage versus even high end providers like Pure (former carrier) or high customer service carriers like USAA (our current carrier) or mass market carriers like State Farm / Progressive, and also discount deals like Costco.
