Telsa quietly made available the Core Wheel version of the Wheel Cap Kit on the Tesla shop at some point. Same price as the Cyber Wheels one, $60 USD.

I bought the Cyber ones 2nd hand for my Core wheels and they fit great, but were slightly recessed. The only difference with these specific core wheel ones is they are slightly taller (~1cm) to sit flush with the Core Wheel surface.

So if you want the OEM option for your Core Wheels, there you go. Just thought I'd get the word out since I didn't see anyone mention it anywhere.

Note: My wheels aren't clean in these photos so the new caps kind of stand out right now colorwise... but I'm sure they'll be fine in the long run.

I'll wait a few weeks to see if mine come through from the Amazon source.

Can you send pics of the whole truck sometime? I might get them as a backup set if something ever happens to the covers.

How easy is it to remove? Do they (3rd party and tesla) come with tools to remove?

Sure, here's one. I wiped my wheels and tires so now the caps blend in much better.

Tesla OEM ones (and I assume third party ones) come with a little metal pull tool. It's easy enough to remove with the tool; just have to pull hard and catch the cap before it falls to the ground. It would be pretty difficult to remove without a tool... in other words, they're not going to fall off suddenly on the highway.

I got the Cyber set back in October for my Core wheels. I honestly prefer the recessed look, it gives some depth to what are otherwise very flat wheel faces.

Ultimately I just went back to the dinner plates though. The core wheels look better naked (IMO) than the Cyberwheels, but I like the aero benefit and the 30-45 min saved on car washes by not having to use my wheel brush woolie. I know, I know, I could just skip that part, but also my brain wouldn't let me skip it.

If a better cover comes out I'll go with that. In the meantime the little bro wheel covers are just fine.

Excellent, just placed my order!

I'm taking delivery of my CT in 3 days with Core wheels. I almost resigned myself to getting the ones from Abstract Ocean (which do look good) but they have been OOS.

Been rocking the little circle + lug nut cover set from Amazon. This is definitely a cleaner look imo. Might have to grab these. But I'm also liking the look of those halo wheel covers that got announced recently.

Bout time...but now get ready for us Core wheel owners complaining that the wheel covers have scratched the wheels (mine have them on each 'spoke').

Do you have them on the spoke (where the covers have a 'V' clip) or just around the outer perimeter?

Also FYI I ordered my Core wheel caps yesterday and just got a shipping notification, so they are indeed in stock.

Makes sense given the damage being caused by oem wheel covers. Gives owners a second oem option thats likely to damage the wheels. I notice almost 0 difference in efficiency since removing them
