Interesting that you end up with an exposed wire? I'm not sure if I like that. I definitely would like some else to take the plunge and let us know how it turns out.

Wonder how much slack that wire has, looks like you could go around the edge of the glass. That looks so awful. This is why I was thinking I would install it myself, I think I could do a better job.

Very interested if the location of the light bar will help deflect more wind up and over my first roof rack I installed from MARS. Not bad wind noise with the 3 bars and 2 side bars I installed but can hear a bit of wind at 40+mph from the first one above cab. This may help a lot, but then it could cause it's own noise. Hmmmm. Either way, it will be much less noise than putting a typical 50" bar on the first rack.
I am hoping the same thing. That first bar is noisy.
