This is my first electric vehicle and first Tesla. When i bought the CT i had read all the boards and watched all the videos and knew it would be a little more quirky and require a little more patience than the other vehicles I was considering but I felt it was worth it (still do). This is my 3rd service appt in 4 mo. First time was some cosmetic stuff and they sent a mobile repair truck and fixed it.
The second time was for some minor stuff and was at the service center and while the experience was pleasant enough the 2 hour repair window turned into 2 days. I sat there for several hours and finally went and asked about my car and they were like "oh it wont be ready until tomorrow we can give you a loaner". OK fine bad communication but made it right and gave me a model Y (and tomorrow turned into day after tomorrow).
It is this 3rd time that is kind of pissing me off and would really like to hear from you guys if this is normal and what i should expect going forward. I keep getting "Power reduced" and "high voltage system error detected" messages so i made an appt. They couldnt get me in for 2 weeks which was fine but I get there and they tell me they didn't set up a loaner but would try and get to it right away. I went to lunch around the corner and did some shopping and came back in 3hrs and they hadn't even looked at it. They gave me a Cyberbeast as a loaner and told me mine would be ready the next day (Wednesday). The Cyberbeast they gave me was really filthy, i was shocked they would let a car go out like that with some kind of shit all over the seats and console and the exterior caked with dirt. Fine, ok I appreciate the loaner and I immediately took it and got it cleaned. Thursday they message me that it will be Friday. Friday they message me and say it will be Monday. And now here we are on Monday and they tell me they r still trying to diagnose the problem???? 6 freaking days and no work done and they are "trying to diagnose it". Seems like total BS to me.
Is this what i should expect going forward? I REALLY love my CT and my overall experience with Tesla so far has been really positive (the sales process was great and the service ppl have been really nice) but if I am not a "one off" and this is a typical service experience they have a lot of work to do IMHO
