Yes, this is the reality of the situation, Tesla is leading in the self-driving space. While it's true that they didn't test any cars outfitted with Waymo self-driving computers, that's because you can't buy a car outfitted like that (and you would need a lot of data, resources and extensive further training to activate it in any given driving space).

But the anti-Tesla crowd is foaming at the mouth to naysay Tesla and their FSD. Here is one of our favorite naysayers, Missy Cummings, spreading more ignorance and BS (time-stamped to the appropriate spot):



Given that Tesla has already legally started rolling out self-driving robotaxis, and she said this only one year ago, it's pretty hilarious to watch her make a fool of herself. For background, Missy Cummings was the last administrations top pick to head the self-driving regulations at NHTSA. But she didn't last long once people found she had a financial interest in a LIDAR manufacturer! Yes, she was on the BoD of a company who sold LIDAR for self-driving! But that didn't stop her from continuing her anti-Tesla FSD campaign and making a complete fool of herself. Such a sad ending for a woman who was once a highly esteemed fighter pilot.
