The $2,500 Tesla credit can be used in separate purchases, but how to get more credits?

I went ahead and used my $2,500 Powershare Tesla credits in the Tesla shop app for other things because my Qmerit and New Leaf Electric PowerShare install quote was $4323.75. I’m assuming the $2,500 is only for the Gateway and Universal Wall Connector equipment for me to order on the Tesla Shop and the $4323.75 was in addition to the $2,500 credit. A little too pricey for me. Anyway, I discovered the app would only let me use all or less than the $2,500 amount of the credit and any remaining credit amount stayed in my account for later use. The app wouldn’t let me use other payment options to cover any amount over the $2,500. In my case, I was able to select several items for an amount of $2,499.81. So, $0.19 of Tesla credit remains in my account. I tried again to buy something (a pack of two D-Rings $40) to use up the $0.19 but was denied. Does anyone know how to get more Tesla credits, other than a referral maybe to bump up the credit amount to purchase something else?

I have 2000 'points' for my model Y, but would like to get another 500 so I can use 2500 to do an upgrade (performance) but can't seem to figure out how to get 500 points more... I got the 2000 from installing solar and will need to 'spend' them pretty soon or they run out...

Wife got the CT so the credits are under her account and they said we can't combine them...
