Yes, today is the day. I received the text to take delivery on Aug 5, unfortunately I had just landed in Spain to begin a two week vacation with my wife and friends. So I told them the earliest I could take delivery was today Aug 17th and they gave me a couple time slots, noon and 2pm. I placed my order on June 1, 2020, configured it on July 3, 2024 and today at noon I pick up an All Wheel Drive, Foundation Series with Tactical Gray Interior and all weather tires in Sunnyvale, Ca. I have been following this site and absorbing as much information from everyone here as I can, I know there is a lot of information on the delivery process, here and on Youtube and Tesla continues to adjust/improve etc that process but any tips, suggestions, do's and don'ts on very recent deliveries would be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations! I bet you love it.
I suggest you check the gaskets between the slats on the tonneau cover to make sure they are all seated properly. Open and close it a few times to verify. Also check alignment on the trunk and tailgate.
My truck has been great so far with no squeaks or rattles. Hopefully you experience the same.

We configured ours (and paid the $1000) in early JUNE and still don't have a VIN for it...

Hoping we get it BEFORE we go on vacation in a few more weeks, but I am betting we'll get the notification just after we hit the road... hehe... Our RN#11314xxxx... Yep, from way back in Nov. 2019 like most others...

I don't understand it either, my brother placed his initial reservation 4 months after me and received his invite to configure 2 months before me. Go figure.
