I do miss some things for sure.

steer by wire. Although I thought it was cool, I don’t miss it at all.

Disney+ and video games. Again a cool feature but only used maybe once or twice in the year I owned it. My kids are 12-14 so they mostly use their phone instead of the screen on the truck.

The app isn’t as good but it’s not horrible at all. It has everything I used on a regular basis on the Tesla app (locking, ac controls, lights etc)

I have an adapter for the truck so I can use the super charger network without issues.

acceleration is fine. Not as fast as CT but I don’t like to blow through my tires anyhow so it’s fine. Plenty of power. I would actually prefer a better range over acceleration speed.

enjoy your truck. No ill wishes and not looking to make anyone defensive. I love both trucks. It’s not ct or nothing though. We can all drive on the same road

The cool thing about South Bay in SF Bay Area is that every 1 in 10 car is Tesla. Few CTs in neighborhood and so it feels home. I guess educated folks in tech industry understand CT is more American born and built than anything else…

I traded in my CT for another truck. I loved the truck to death but my family simply couldn't take the hate anymore. It was making my wife and kids pretty uncomfortable to even go out to dang ice cream without being harassed.

Time to get real folks, here in Upstate New York, I get tons of thumbs up and every time I take it out for an errand I have to schedule an extra half hour, because of all the interest and questions. I even have a card with all of my technical talking points on a card I give out. Now for the four idiots (in the past year) who decided to give me the finger, always going the other way, two of them I had the chance to go after, so I immediately did a u-turn and followed them into a parking lot, blocked them in after they parked, rolled down the window and boldly asked "You got something to say to me", both sheepishly said no, so I replied "Good idea, Jackass", then left and I'm sure I scared the crap out of them. And of course they were just wimpy jackasses who think its cute to give us CT drivers the finger. My motivation is, as Barney would say "Nip it in the bud", so they don't do something really stupid and try to vandalize my CT, for then it might get serious.

Meh for the one "thumbs down" i got from some loser on a motorcycle, i get 5 positive interactions - especially the kids that literally freak out when they see it. Always puts a smile on my face. I had a conversation with Franz (randomly ran into him) about this topic last week - thanked him for designing a car that speaks to my inner child.
