Buckle up, Cybertruck fam, because I'm about to take you on a wild ride through the delightfully unconventional world of Tesla deliveries. Brace yourselves for a rollercoaster of emotions, from the thrill of the hunt to the sweet, sweet victory of finally laying eyes on your long-awaited cybersteed.

Now, let's rewind to my first Tesla delivery experience, which took place on a remote Hawaiian island (because why not add a touch of tropical paradise to the mix?). I strolled into the ocean shipping company, all nonchalant, expecting a grand unveiling worthy of a Hollywood premiere. Instead, they just handed me some paperwork and a set of keys, leaving me to fend for myself in a dusty parking lot. It was like a real-life treasure hunt, except the treasure was a several-thousand-pound hunk of electric awesomeness.

After a few false starts (hey, nobody said it would be easy), I finally located my gleaming red chariot and experienced a rush of pure, unadulterated joy. Who needs fancy delivery ceremonies when you can have the thrill of the chase?

Fast forward to Portland, Oregon, where the process was a tad more streamlined but no less quirky. Ten minutes, tops, from start to finish. Efficient? You bet. Boring? Not a chance. There's something deliciously unconventional about the whole thing that just screams, "This ain't your grandpa's car-buying experience."

And now, as we eagerly await the arrival of our beloved Cybertrucks, we can revel in the knowledge that the peculiar pleasures of Tesla deliveries await us once more. Will you be scouring a desert wasteland for your trusty steed? Or perhaps navigating the concrete jungle of a bustling metropolis? Wherever your journey takes you, rest assured that the payoff will be worth every second of the delightfully bizarre adventure.

So, embrace the unconventional, my fellow Cybertruck enthusiasts. Relish in the thrill of the hunt, the quirky charm of the process, and the sheer awesomeness of finally getting your hands on your very own piece of automotive innovation. After all, isn't that what being a Tesla owner is all about? Buckle up and enjoy the ride – it's going to be one for the books!

Scheduled.

I had scheduled for today (May 6) then Tesla texted and pushed it back to May 8 "because they can only prep 2 Cybertrucks per day." There were 10 Cybertrucks at the Fort Myers SC when I visited yesterday. Hoping they can get mine prepped and rescheduled for earlier, but exciting either way.

Hey fellow Cybertruck enthusiasts! I'm here to spill the beans on my Cybertruck delivery adventure. Buckle up, because this ride is wilder than a SpaceX launch! ?

1. Hotter Than a Habanero☀
- Picture this: Three Cybertrucks basking in the Florida sun, their stainless steel hides sizzling at a toasty 135°F. It's like a futuristic barbecue pit out there! ?
- But fear not—I activated Dog Mode, so my truck's interior stayed cooler than Elon's Twitter feed. ?

2. Battle-Scarred Beauty ?
- My Cybertruck arrived with a battle scar: a deep scratch from its intergalactic journey. ?
- Oh, and a torn dashboard fabric. But hey, it's not a Versace runway; it's a rugged beast on wheels!
- The sales agent asked if I wanted to wait for repairs. My response? "Nah, I'm good." Imperfections give character, right? ?

3. Tesla Tech Extravaganza ?
- Let's talk tech. The cameras calibrated during my 20-mile drive home. Suddenly, I felt like a space explorer fine-tuning my warp drive.
- Adaptive cruise control? Check. Sound system? Mind-blowing. Hidden tech? Phenomenal! It's like the Batmobile and the Millennium Falcon had a baby. ?? Things like this makes happy:

4. Perfectly Imperfect ?
- Some folks scoff at Tesla quirks. "Yeah, it's a Tesla," they say. But guess what? That's total BS! ?‍♂
- Perfection? Nah. We want evolution. Like a Pokémon, but with more horsepower.
- Fingerprints? A generous spritz of ammonia-free glass cleaner, and voilà! Good as new. ?

5. Legacy Dealerships, Take Notes ?
- My order? Managed by the Portland, OR Tesla showroom. But I picked up my beast in West Palm Beach. ?
- Scammy legacy dealerships? Pfft. We're in the future, baby!
- So, do I love my Cybertruck? Hell yeah! Scratches and all. It's not an "investment"; it's a passion purchase. ?

Remember, fellow Cyberpioneers, imperfections are our warp drives—they propel us forward. ? Keep riding, keep innovating, and keep those solar panels charged! ?

AMA!

Not to be rude, but is this ChatGPT? This is how it writes if I ask it to make an exciting social media post :geek:

Either way congrats on the Cybertruck!

Edit: Deep scratch and torn fabric?? You might want to actually get that taken care of!

I'm trying ChatGPT for my (probably) last post. I just want to let people know that all the worries and negativity just aren't true.

I don't understand the backlash when a studio releases trailers with AI. What's the problem? I envision a future where AI moves instead of humans.

I opened a ticket on the app with photos. If they can repair it locally, great!

If they'll have to replace the parts, I'd tell them to forget about it. I don't wanna waste Tesla's money for something I really don't care about. ?

According to my understanding, Tesla is losing money, probably quite significantly, on each CT it sells to us at this time. Therefore, I still expect 100K FS CTs.
