Update: After deciding on gloss white with gold sparkle, I started noticing that 7 out of 10 cars in my area were one or another shade of white. I just couldn’t do it. Even though mine would be one of maybe three CT’s the area, seeing all those other white cars made it somehow seem plain. Chose another color and looking forward to seeing it on the truck I’m still impatiently waiting for. ?

Gold Dust Grey by Pure PPF. Waiting for a quote from my tint shop. I used to have a pearl white 2014 MS and loved the way the white hid light dirtiness. From a distance the car looked basically clean all the time. During the winter in Ca. when we get the most rain, keeping it looking good was more difficult. That white paint helped me out. I wanted the same with my CT but I’ll clean it incessantly either way thought. Dark colors look great when they’re clean but depending on where you live that may not last long.

What's up with all the portait video orientations when shooting a Cybertruck from the side? It makes no sense!

I love white cars (we have 3 White Model 3s and the two cars before that were both white) but somehow white just doesn't work for me on the Cybertruck.

I typically shoot in landscape, but I've been told to shoot in portrait for posting on social media. It's a hard habit to overcome.

It reminds me of the white wrapping you must remove from stainless steel tool chests or appliances before installing them. Just saying...
