I have to say - this dude @cvalue13 has had the best predictions for the last several months. Range is as stated - and use cases supported (extension in bed is a valid use case), and variants are as predicted. Great job with the insider info and getting folks like me ready for the release. Much appreciated!

That’s very kind of you, and I do sincerely appreciate the nod.

That said, along the way I learned that not everyone is like you and me, insofar as having a preference for taking the bandaid off more slowly.

To the folks out there who instead prefer to rip their bandaids off quickly, I apologize ?

nah, mixed bag. Definitely true on the "one pack size" standard for dual and tri. But did not know that a range extension option would be available at launch, and was off on other items.

I will commend him on being a superfan, contributing lots, etc. But he posted numerous items as fact without sources, simply as "I know". That gets you banned in most forms I've been a part of, and is generally trash posting. If everyone posted something they heard or the opinion as "I know", the form looks ridiculous.

In addition, he was condescending and mocking repeatedly (again falling back on the basic "I know"), to some posters that disagreed with him. He also introduced clique behavior to this forum that was otherwise absent, with statements like "those of us who have been paying attention", etc, which is destructive to the community.

For my own part, I asked him the general source of what he was saying (did he drive it? talk to a test driver? talk to Elon?) and he was just rude to me. I suspected he was getting half-info and filling in some blanks, as was true. I don't hate him, or any of you on here and we've had a fun ride anticipating the truck and we'll have a fun time as we eventually actually become owners. I'm just not going to say he was bang on anything, and more of a mixed bag of positive and negative in the forum.

first things first, there were maybe 10 people on the planet that knew everything about both the truck itself and everything the accessory team was doing

so, whatever your standards are for someone to “know everything,” there’s not a person on the earth who could both meet that standard AND give a damn m about you, to help you with that

Second, what if - bare with me here - you were just one of the few so oblivious and obstinate they couldn’t piece together my last several months of posts and Easter eggs. There were plenty who did.

For gods sakes for a month now my PFP is of my Lightning parked next to a CyberTruck in my driveway.

I don’t blame someone for not picking up on this months ago, but recently? Or today?

Go look at my specs post from today, and it’s time stamp relative to when Tesla website went live.

You think I typed all that up in ~10 minutes?

He also introduced clique behavior to this forum that was otherwise absent, with statements like "those of us who have been paying attention", etc, which is destructive to the community.

to suggest *I* introduced clique behavior to this forum is WILD

when I got (back) here, this forum was overrun by a small group of online bullies who shouted down anyone that dared suggest Tesla wouldn’t deliver 50k trucks in 2023, that Musk would be “such an idiot“ as to not release a 500mi variant, that the center console was possibly still a 6th seat, or any number of baseless, hopium-drugged, irrational claptrap.

If anything, you are among that cliques remnants. Or at least you’re certainly acting like it in this response to this thread.

For my own part, I asked him the general source of what he was saying (did he drive it? talk to a test driver? talk to Elon?) and he was just rude to me.
I’ve not blocked anyone on this forum, because I find that basic b*tch behavior

But if you have a bone to pick, or you’re butthurt because between the two of us I’m the only one who’s driven in a Cybertruck, then do yourself a favor and block me.

Because I was only remotely *rude*, after your incessant pecking for me to - what? - name a source? Do you have a clue how rhe world works?

I told you then and I’ll say it again now:

If I wanted to lie about info, I would just also lie about a source.

The only and best credibility you could have, I was already giving: by putting a stake in info, my credibility on this forum was riding on it.

You, meanwhile, from the peanut gallery: “source? SOURCE? SOURCE!?!?”

That’s *you*, with nothing at stake, being rude to *me*. To then flinch and cry when you’re told to take your finger out of my face, is embarrassing for you.

End of the day, since tried to help where, how, and to the extent I can. Maybe I was hamfisted at times. Maybe I didn’t tolerate enough bullsh*t at other times.

But ultimately, I care about my family, friends, and law license, more than I care that you get butthurt that someone else knows something.

It is what it is. Block away, and join *that* clique fully, if you’d like.
