I bought an Ironhorse 1-Bike FlipTop trailer for towing my Harley CVO a week ago. This is a very cool trailer designed precisely for what is needed. It weighs 800 lbs empty, has an aluminum frame, and a fiberglass-enclosed, aerodynamic shape. I usually get about 500 Wh/mi on the Cyberbeast. I was hoping I would get about 700ish with this trailer.
WHOA! We got between 534-593 Wh/mi on our 114-mile test run today. The 534 was my wife driving; I am not as efficient. ? She kept commenting how the truck drove the same with the trailer as without. Now, to get tires with a higher speed-rating for the trailer!
Overall assessment - this thing rocks! Now, we can have our Cyberbeast and our Harley in the Smoky Mountains!
