Yeah. I'm new to driving. Don't be a moron.

I respect plenty of things, but not some fool that doesn't know how to have a conversation about improving features of a system that has obvious pit falls.
Says the guy talking about safety with a screen name of "HaulingAss" get real bro.

It sounds like you don't respect that you need to be aware when using FSD, particularly if you punch the accelerator past 85 mph!

From where I'm sitting FSD is improving rapidly. If you think it's dangerous as a supervised driver's aid, then you need to re-appraise how you're using it. It's not for everyone.

Before you know it, it will be a more reliable driver than yourself.

You weren't there, accelerating was the best move.

FSD should never disable unless the driver disables it.
I wasn't there and gave you the benefit of doubt. If accelerating was the right response, I don't question it. You disabled FSD, it can not operate above 85 mph. Your options are the vehicle disables FSD when you perform a manual evasive action or it prevents you from exceeding its operating parameters, in this case a maximum speed. Exceeding 85 mph and FSD steering are mutually exclusive. FSD did not exceed 85 mph, therefore you disabled it.

As soon as FSD prevents me from performing the action I choose, right or wrong, it'll be the last time I choose to use it. Given your two options of it either disengaging when you chose to react or preventing you from reacting, I believe it made the right choice in letting you disengage.

"You overrode it. You did it, not FSD"
I don't want FSD to disable unless I turn it off. If I slam on the accelerator FSD stay on.
Comprende?
Comprendo.

You may not want it to, but you don't get that choice.

You asked it to do something it did not know how to do safely, so it turned off. How else was it supposed to react? You were giving it input, you're the driver, you know best. So it released to you.

Maybe it should be required for you to deselect it before you can override with the pedal - it would have saved many accidents. But it would be really annoying to have to push a button and press on the accelerator, wouldn't it?

Maybe it should be like my mom's Subaru: When it activates the warning or deactivates steering, it deactivated the accelerator until you press it twice!

Edit: Please don't be like my mom's Subaru. That was super-annoying, and almost made her crash into me once when we were caravanning and I had to emergency stop and she was behind me.

Wow this is all bad. Besides the intoxication and reckless driving. Then you have the surrounding environment that's all working against your survival. Stuck between a wall and a tree talk about bad discissions followed by bad driving then even worse luck ending up trapped, then helplessness afterwards. And to top it off the car that stops bullets apparently also stops you from escaping. what a horrible end for the people inside. I know what it feels like to be trapped in a wrecked car and all you want to do is get out because the smell of fuel is very strong, and you can see puddles of fuel on the ground around you. I was lucky it didn't ignite, and I had an escape path. Since then, I always carry a pocketknife in my car to cut seatbelts Thanks to the semitruck driver that hit me he had a knife on him. He T boned me going through a major intersection at full speed I never saw him, and he didn't see me until it was too late. hit me passenger side right behind the door. it hit so hard all of the glass and roof bloow out instantly and just sheared the backend of my range rover off including the top of my fuel tank that was full of gasoline. It opened up like a can opener. Everything from that moment on was in slow motion. It wasn't over yet when he hit me it then dragged me all the way across the intersection to the opposite corner and I can see that I'm heading right toward the street light pole. My wheels hit the curb sideways and folded shot me into the pole it hit right behind the driver door with enough force to make me do a 540 spin off the pole I finally came to rest on the lawn of a business there. I felt no pain, yet my focus was on trying to get out of the car. everything was mangled and smashed no airbags went off from the side impact. The back of my rover was full of tools that got scattered everywhere there was so much damage. If anyone else was in the car with me, I doubt they survive. The only spot that wasn't totally destroyed was the driver's seat. But even the seatbelt release latch was smashed and missing the plastic cover. I was trying to get it to release with no success then I look to my other side and the guy is standing there just looking at me. I say hay you got a knife? cut my seatbelt he pulls out a knife and he's hesitating I say what are you waiting for cut it. with one swipe he cuts it. I crawl out through the window and when i hit the floor that's when the pain started 2 broken ribs and that's all i had one small scratch on my back. I don't know how it wasn't worse look at the pics.

Hopefully Tesla will dramatically improve Cybertruck to reduce fatalities.
Saw this ode to all the occupants incinerated in Cybertrucks on Teslarati.

RIP Cybertruck Occupants Incinerated by Deceit

A glitch in the code, a spark in the wires,
Tesla's unsafe driver—set on fire—
The vehicle hums, a dangerous song,
Where road and heart both don’t belong.
A touch on the wheel, a pulse in the seat,
Disgrace drips from the tires’ beat.
Deceived by a screen, by the promise of ease,
They trust in a system that fails to appease.
Wires tangled in webs of deceit,
No warning, no care, no heartbeat to greet.
And though the vehicle may purr and fly,
It’s the deceived Tesla drivers who die.
The interface promises safety, control,
But cracks in the system tear at the soul

That's really sad to hear about the Cybertruck accident in the SF Bay Area. It must have been such a tragic event for everyone involved. It's so important to make sure that the people who are affected get the help they need, whether it’s for medical bills or any other support.

If anyone's going through something similar and needs legal help, reaching out to a personal injury law firm in Tulsa or wherever you're located could be a good step. They can guide you through the process.
