Universal wall charger with Foundation Series?

Hey All,

just curious, has anyone gotten the universal wall charger that was promised with the foundation series trucks?

I thought it was listed separately from the Power Share gateway (which costs $2500) on the list of included features.

my truck came with the mobile charger, but not the universal wall charger.

I got my truck today and the SC rep didnt seem to know.

It does not come with the Universal Wall Connector. You will get a $2,500 voucher for the store that will allow you to purchase gear.

Yeah it is really misleading. The way it lays everything out when you order I fully believed that I would be getting a wall connector too. I still feel it reads that way (powershare separate).

Yeah, I looked at the link you posted. it appears that it is sold as a “bundle“ when you purchase the powershare gateway. I live in a house, but I probably won’t be there for more than another five years, and the install cost is quoted at $4600… I doubt anybody would be willing to uninstall and relocate both the charger and power share gateway. Even if they were, that would probably still cost in the thousands of dollars….

fortunately, the voucher is good for a year. I may just hold onto it for now and wire a 40–50 amp outside outlet in the meantime. Hopefully they release some other good accessories. I have no use for the tent.

Yeah I think you will win out by holding on to that voucher. Oh when I used my voucher it removed the tax from my order so keep that in mind later so you can get the most out of your voucher purchase.
