All you need to do, if that it not desirable is get a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed. You can then use the included Mobile Connector.First, I need to apologize for being TESLA newbie. When I used the term "SC" I was referring to Service Center (the delivery location). Now know it means SUPERCHARGER.
I get it now, I am out another $450 or $550 to buy my own charger connection for my garage because no POWERSHARE. I was naively assuming that the EWC listing on the premium accessories list, separate from the POWERSHARE listing meant that it was separate because a buyer would want some way to charge at home even if he didn't want the power to go in both directions.
So, because of the one-time transaction restriction on the $2,500 POWERSHARE credit, I must spent cash out of pocket now to get either the Gen2 or Gen3 charger?
If you do this, you may ask the electrician to run wires for 60A, as that is what is needed for full-speed charging with the Wall Connectors.
But the mobile connector plugged into a NEMA 14-50 is going to do your daily charge in only a few hours.
