I would disagree with your assessment. I compete in powerlifting and have placed in nationals repeatedly. I'm also an older past full time mechanic - so semi decent with my hands.

I think if I'm having a hard time with it, the average dude probably will as well. Fits easily and as expected above the underbed storage. Past that line, easily or forcibly (without causing damage to the truck or the divider), it simply doesn't fit.

My appointment is 7/1. I'll keep you guys posted what the service center tech says. I would skip on buying this specific accessory for now until they can get it resolved.

>> How long did yours take to get? I ordered over two weeks ago and UPS still says “created label” and thats it. I know the Tesla Standard Time is in effect, but come on, give me my damn bins!
Took about two weeks. Said it was in stock, label was created and then on the UPS website --> delay status was given.
Well, probably I forced them to install them there and I am damaging something . I made sure they attached properly, I just needed to press one side down after attaching the other side to make it go into the rail.

My bins just arrived. About all I've done is unpack and put in bed.
They do ride in the grooves well. They won't slide side to side, but there is nothing keeping them from sliding front to back.
I placed one in front of the other and the fit is close to perfect. So perfect that you may not be able to have the divider in with a set in the front/back position.
They are a lot narrower than I expected, but then again, with a 50 inches wide bed divided by 3, they can't be that wide.

One of them will probably come with the locks not installed. It took a little work, but look for one side of the bin's handle to have a notch carved out for the handle to be pushed in.

Actually I’d venture to say “most” people who have reported purchasing the Cargo Bed Divider cannot get it to lock-in at the middle ~1/3 of the bed—which is unfortunately not only the most ideal spot but also where these Storage Bins would end.

The reason is apparently due to the bed floor being slightly bowed upward in the middle—the bed divider itself is not the issue.
Itried mine today and it eems that in my truck and the pics I‘ve seen here of other dividers, the feet are the problem. They are too close and end up riding on the ribs of the bed floor. This keeps divider from resting flat on bed at proper height for latches. I may test this once I get the new ones on the way since the latch is not the problem on mine… the distance between the feet is too short for the far sides of the bed floor corrugation.

Have you tried it at both the very back & very front of the bed?

Front back and center. Because the distance between feet is too narrow it fails to stand flat on bed floor keeping it too high for proper engagement with the tracks that lock it in.

I have the bins and they fit great. I also have the storage divider, but am running into a similar issue as others where my trunk bed is bowed so it will not lock into place in the front half of the bed. I took it to service this week and they are ordering another panel and will have mobile service come out and replace it when the replacement comes in. At least they are aware of the issue.

For all of us the have the middle 1/3 of the bed problem, there's no amount of force that will get it to work. At either the front 1/3 or the back 1/3, it works (sometimes with a little force). There must be a 3/4 inch gap in the middle. And as others have proven, if you force it to close, you end up bending the latch mechanism. I'm waiting for a few people that have taken their Cybertrucks in to service to fix it until I bring mine in...

@someccie, PLEASE keep us informed. If it fixes it, I'd make a new post announcing it. A LOT of people will be helped if it works...

I shaved about 1/8th of inch from inside edge of each divider foot with my utility knife, Mine is still tight but it now works locked in place in the mid bed area

If Tesla moves the foot outward about 1/8 inch on each side and the divider seems to fit much better.

I can put my cargo Divider anywhere on the rail. It sounds funny, but I had to sit on it. Start by extending the handle ALL the way, then center the divider on the truck bed equally between the two walls. Try aiming for the "valleys" (between the raised areas). Gentle start pushing the handle down, till the two Locking "pins" start to engage the rails. Sit on the top of the divider and gently wiggle is back and forth, while pushing down on the handle. It took a couple of times, but now I can do it easily with the sitting trick.

Definitely have 1 set (3 bins) which are nice, fit perfect, and are functional, but for the price, some Husky waterproof ones with the lifetime warranty get the job done, and you don't worry about getting dirty/damaged as much when camping.

I'm also not sure what the warranty is for the Tesla ones...

Has anyone tried standing on it? Looking for a storage solution where I can double use the storage bin as a step up to the bed.

1. Came in a huge and heavy box
2. Feels like durable, strong, good quality
3. Nice little branding and details
4. Covers fit on snugly
5. Easily slides to the back of the bed
6. Vault divider keeps them in the back half with a tiny bit of room in between. (Wonder if they’ll slide a bit.)
7. Keeps the Cybertruck aesthetic and theme.
8. Still a bit overpriced
9. Can use L-track above.
10. Best packaging yet. Really kept everything from being scratched on delivery (even though it will be scratched in use)

Ask any questions you may have. This was easier than making awhile YouTube video and I know some of you wanna get straight to the point.

Bonus: added some TWraps MOLLE hooks to the cargo divider. Kinda like these.

Are they going to slide if I don't have the divider?

Thanks
