At my first visit in August to address the door panel/mirror vibrations, these were the service notes:
“ Concern: Customer states: Glass & Windows - Drivers side mirror vibrates at highway speeds,
distorts the image making it hard to see back on that side. There is a buzzing sound that
accompanies the vibration, can’t tell if the mirror glass itself is loose, or if the housing is loose, but
the rubber seal on the inboard side doesn’t fit in the housing properly so perhaps that’s part of it? Passenger mirror is rock steady and clear image

Repair Notes: Verifeid customer concern on test drive. Determined door bonding to have
separated leading to excessive vibration- of the door panel affecting the mirror. An appropriate
repair is currently under investigation and will need to be addressed in a future appointment.”

At my second visit in October (after 1000s of miles roadtripping:
“ Concern: Customer states: Glass & Windows - Drivers side mirror vibrates badly at freeway
speeds, can’t see well especially at night. Passenger mirror is rock solid at same speeds. Often
coincides with severe vibration of the driver door panel which shakes bottles and other objects in
the door pockets
Repair Notes: Verified customer concern. Diagnosed and found outer skin had come unattached
from support. Replaced side mirror due to vibration during highway speeds. Verified door aligned
and operating as intended.
Correction: Adjustment: Exterior Trim

The October visit is what fixed the issue, but the key was the driver door skin had become “unattached from the support”.
I have the door vibration I call buffetting. At higher speeds or any major cross breeze if feels like the door is swelling and moving in and out. In fact it sounds like a bass drum. You put your hand on it or your knee and it is pretty significant. They ordered two new doors to replace my drivers and passenger doors. Based on the feedback on this chain I feel like it should fix the problem. I was very sceptical as my friends CT has the same thing and they just finally fixed all of the wind noise in my doors when the temperture fell to 20 degrees. If this fixes the issue I will have a very quiet cabin. I guess I will go through with it as I have read others stating door replacement or panel replacement. I would appreciate any feedback others with this issue might have.

I am sorry to report it does not resolve the buffeting. They actually have replaced one of my doors 3x because it was not aligning well with the fenders. I think there is a slight improvement, but it is not so bad that I would consider not owning the CT. I wonder if ALL CTs do this.

Mine is doing this (buffeting/vibrating at highway speed), SC toolbox tells them to replace the door, but the tech was not confident the replacement door would be any different.... Sounds like a big job, so big that my SC contracts it out to a local body shop to complete the job. Not sure I'm ready to roll the dice.
