VIN Assignment Tracking Sheet

I am currently working on a new sheet that puts everyone's order date, VIN date, delivery date, Days since each status and the average days for all in 1 place. i am manually going through all the threads and finding places where people post about getting a VIN and updating their name on my copy of the order list.

if possible, can anyone who has been assigned a VIN or taken delivery post the dates they have for VIN assignment and delivery date (if not already on the official delivery sheet) so it is easier for me to find them?

It would be cool if you could add a forecasted delivery date based on "Order Date" based on this information. I've tried and got delivery dates between the end of March and September for my 12/31 order date. Forecasting is not my specialty!

Right now based on all deliveries recorded so far, Average Days from Configure to Deliver is 56.43.

Average Days from order to VIN is 45.18

altho this does fluctuate based on your location and delivery center, and the deliveries in the last week or so have been a few days higher on average, with the trend increasing

Thanks for taking the time to compile this information. I’m on day 55 from order with no VIN so you’re spot on with the trend increasing. Hopefully it’s just a temporary thing. As you’re able to gather more data we should get a better representation of the timeframe.

I'm on the Admin's "Cybertruck Orders List" linked at the top of every page already but here are my stats for easy reference (and to help me wrap my head around the time intervals just for fun).

AWD Foundation Series

Location, Albuquerque, NM
I was in Sacramento, CA driving Teslas from 2013-2021 and it feels like they sometimes think I am still there. Thank god the CA Tax Franchise Board doesn't)



1) Reservation = 11/21/2019 (within first 15 minutes of orders opening) = RN112779xxx.

2) Invite = 12/26/2023

3) Config (AWD) & order = 12/26/2023

4) Interval between Reservation and config & order = 1496 days

5) Interval between Invite and Config & Order = 0 days (of course the same day, you silly)

6) VIN = unassigned

7) Delivery = pending VIN

I have received no communication from Tesla outside of the 12/26/23 email invite to order and another (two!) email invites (one on Jan 4, 2024) to complete the PowerShare survey.

And today I freaked out because the Tesla app said “UPDATE” but it was just an app update, nothing involving my account, LOL.

Currently the longest from Order to VIN i have a record of is @Finx 63 Days in Plano texas, but on a positive note it was only 4 days from VIN to delivery for them.

@Dk9927 did get his VIN on 2/14 after 67 days waiting since order, technically he is the longest one so far, but he is in PA
