Visibility when launching a jet ski?

What is it like to launch a jet ski? I perceive that visibility is a problem when backing down the ramp. I can tell you my experience in the "ICE truck" is that the rear camera does not show how you are lined up with the ramp. it is necessary to look out the rear window, not the camera and not the side mirrors. This is mostly a problem due to the short length of trailer trailer of the jet ski. Since the CT has an extremely short rear window I think it would be a problem.

It is great you do not just have the back up cameras you have the side cameras also. It is way better than my Tahoe. I used to have to open the back to be able to see jet ski.

Do you have a super narrow trailer? If backing a normal width trailer, regardless of the tow vehicle being used, you want to be using your side mirrors (because they give the most sensitive view of changing angles between the tow vehicle and the trailer).

yes its narrow, using side mirrors doesn't work because when the trailer comes into view on a side mirror its too late and the trailer is all cockeyed on the ramp. now, having said that, what I need is some sort of temporary clip on side extenders on the trailer of about a foot long. thanks for the idea. Lord help me to not have the brakes fail when backing down. It has happened many, many years ago (before jet skis) in a very old junker.

It's great. The cameras are much better for seeing the back tires of the trailer than a normal truck with mirrors..
