Vouchers to buy Gift Cards working successfully

In other forums such as the FB Cybertruck owners group, people are saying you can successfully convert vouchers into gift cards. I can get it to work now when I follow these exact instructions (previously had an error) but I am afraid to check out just in case if it doesn't work somehow, I might lose $2500. Just wondering if anyone has also successfully done it in here successfully to double confirm.

Soon all vouchers (single use, lose-unused-amount type), including "wasted" amounts will be converted to gift-card-like amounts (ok for multiple transactions until entire amount depleted). Just give it a couple more weeks
