The lead vehicle that's being drafted does not have to push any 'extra' air out of the way for the drafting vehicle.

In fact, the drafting vehicle fills up the low-pressure zone somewhat, and can actually reduce the pressure of that zone. This is why trucks and hyper-miler cars have those skirts on the back, to fill in that space.

Skirts are better than drafts, clearly, tho.

Cybertruck isn't included in this market for the most part because of the towing capacity(14,000 lbs max). These electric trucks would need to tow 35,000+ lbs. to complete with the big diesel P/U trucks.
While Cybertruck is rated for 14,000+lbs, Elon himself said its towing is infinite. The limiting factor is the suspension. And, building what is considered a HD truck is just putting heavier duty suspension, tire/wheel combos, etc. It's not as huge of an undertaking as the ICE legacy manufacturers that had to build a whole new stronger engine with more torque and all. Tesla's EVs have revolutionized all of this. The EV is ready for any weight. It won't blow up because too much stress on the lifters, or critical failure in the crankshaft.

And, nobody has ever made a pickup truck as HD as the Cybertruck. Let's get that straight here. Meaning, Tesla is already far ahead of everyone else here. Just because it doesn't say 3500 or F350, doesn't mean it's not heavy duty. peace

Agree. With Tesla drive-train power is not a limiting factor. Mostly Cybertruck would need a higher capacity rear suspension.

The rear suspension from double axle rear steering fire trucks is an example that Tesla might want to look at

4 rear wheels for payload & towing capacity.

A 6-wheel or dually 8ft-bed rear-steering Cybertruck could out compete a Ford F-450/550 or RAM 4500.

For simplicity, repair-ability, parts reuse, use same design in all three locations (front, rear-1, rear-2). Take the normal front steering independent suspension & motor from the front of the Cybertruck and put two more sets in the rear but limit rear steering angle to <10-15%.
