“Device cluster assembly” is being replaced during my service visit and the advisor didn’t have a clue what it actually is. The service manual shows it being a pretty significant operation. He could not tell me for certain if it’s even related to one of my concerns or just being done.

Google showed a reference to service bulletin “SB-24-16-001 Replace Device Cluster Assembly To Address HVC Communication Issue.pdf” but nothing more specific or a link to the pdf.

From google:
The Cybertruck device cluster assembly refers to the collection of displays and controls in the driver’s cockpit that provide key vehicle information, such as speed, navigation, and status indicators. It typically includes screens, hardware, and related components. Tesla’s design usually consolidates many traditional controls into a central touchscreen interface, potentially integrated with a heads-up display (HUD) or smaller supplementary screens.

That is not correct. The service manual shows it as a part under the truck, near the HV battery.

I found the bulletin here - https://www.tsbsearch.com/Tesla/SB-24-16-001

On certain Cybertrucks, the device cluster assembly might have been damaged, which could potentially disable the high voltage and drive systems. Replace the device cluster assembly.

They’re still waiting on the part so I won’t get it fixed this service trip.

My CT is currently in for service and just got a msg from Tesla that the truck needs a new device cluster and the part is on order. I went in for service because my CT wouldn't initiate charging when it was cold outside. The last charge I had a super charger was to 80% and the range only showed 80 miles after that charge. Lost 40% overnight after that. Hopefully, that will be the correct fix for this.

It's a big chunk of the Power Conversion System
