I am wondering, since my covers are scratching the wheels, whether the energy consumption is worth keeping them on, vs discarding them. Thanks!

I didn’t appreciate a difference in my “testing” but I’m told about 3%

For wheel covers, I remember seeing the 3% number somewhere. Can't recall where.
Does anyone know the difference for front wheel fairings on/off?

I wonder if it's another 3%?

I just called it a day and now roll with center wheel covers since I don’t really love the oversized aero covers. Don’t stone me; it’s an opinion.
I can’t say I have noticed a difference even with repeatedly trying to measure one.

Thanks. I’ve done a lot of more complicated mods but that’s still one of my fondest.
not super expensive but way cool IMHO.
The Cybertruck logos are little “spinners” so they all stay correctly oriented and they are also little dynamos so when the wheel spins (and they don’t) they generate electricity and light up. Like a faint bluish glow when you’re on the freeway.
Like almost everything else I got them on Amazon.

One is glad to be of service.
They seem pretty durable to me but I keep the Tesla metal “thanks for not suing us over the wheel covers” gratis center caps in the back and throw those on when off-roading.
You could of course just pop them off.

Our testing showed a 4% decrease without th covers, hope that helps.
