In Colorado on the front range so we get snow but it's not Canada, it melts in a day or two...but trips to the mountains do take a bit of preparedness.

What I have so far (more than I put in my other truck):
- Duratrack RT's getting installed on 18th
- Tesla Snow Chains
- Traction Boards
- Tow Rope & Shackles
- Shovel
Extended Ice Scraper
- Spare Tire (with original AT Tire on it) & Jack/Tq Wrench + Plug Kit and Air Compressor
- Extra Clothes, gloves, beanie, etc
- Food / Water
- Tarp & Bungies / Tie Downs

Have some of it in the truck full time, but the extra shit I'll shove behind Bed Divider so can still get to smugglers bay....

Anything obvious others cary?

When I kit up for the winter I usually bring the chainsaw (the battery electric) and/or a pruning saw and machete.

I don't see a first aid kit or fire extinguisher on the list, or blanket, which are always in my car anyhow. You can always get more range tucking the spouse in under a blanket and heated seat.

Candles - I have a 110v work light and a 123kw battery, does that work as a sub?
Ham Radio - would hurt myself, but for those that could use good call
Solar Generator - good call, I have one that sits in basement collecting dust
Starlink - have one, not sure I'll make the room for it if im not heading in mountains but noted
Coffee Setup - you are my hero! Going to go see what's small I could use to heat water
Headlamp - already in truck, nice Stremlight one!

Great feedback! TY!

The hurricane lamps are for emergency heating more so than lighting ;)

and they make stands so you can heat your coffee/soup too.

Speaking of, you can purchase super nice kits from MyMedic using HSA funds. Excellent company. Very high quality products.

Given that this is Colorado, how do you expect to keep food in the truck... in Boulder we get bears sometimes downtown.
