Wheel Cover Fell Off?

So randomly the driver side front wheel cover just was not on the wheel... Didn't hit anything or scrape (I've seen reddit posts where this his happening?) Any one have this happen? I ordered a replacement cover for $75 and it came.

Side note, I used abstract ocean center cap and lug nut covers, and I cannot seem to get the center cap off in order to get the new wheel cover installed. Any ideas how to remove the center cap?

Probably stolen by a disreputable Cybertruck owner (because they have a gorilla grip on the wheels). It's almost impossible to knock off a correctly installed one, even doing baja rally type driving.

If the Abstract Ocean center caps are designed like the OEM ones, there will be a small hole to fit a puller into. Don't AO center caps come with a removal tool?

They came with a small plastic tweezer but I don't see how to use it for the center cap... Maybe I am missing something

The wheel cover should press into the center also, so if you have a cap on that might be why it didn't stay on.

I used a thin long Allen wrench to get some grip and leverage to take mine off.

The wheel cover should press into the center also, so if you have a cap on that might be why it didn't stay on.

No the cap was not on prior to it falling off. I put the cap on while I waited for the new wheel cover so it looked less stupid, but I guess I'm stupid because I can't get it off.

You are not stupid, you just failed to read the damn instructions. According to the manufacturer, you push in on one of the corners and that should cause the opposite corner to pop out. Then just pull it off.

I just lost a front wheel cover during regular driving or someone stole it. If it was stolen there is nothing on sentry cameras to confirm that. Order replacement and will check them regularly for any sign of loosening.

The corner of the center cap that goes into the middle circle?

The instructions I relayed were for the Abstract Ocean hub covers (that also cover the lug nuts). The OEM hub covers use a wire puller through a small hole.
