I'm on the lookout for some beginner-friendly off-road trails in Southern California where I can take my shiny new Cybertruck for a spin. But here's the thing: I've never really done any off-roading before. I'm eager to experience off-road driving immediately without diving into anything too intense or damaging my new truck. Do you have any favorite spots or recommendations? Maybe a scenic trail with some mild terrain where I can ease into this whole off-road thing? Anza Borrego Springs area has plenty of easy trails. Highly recommend for beginners.. added plus very scenic

Area accessible to off-roading in the Western States has declined by about 80% since the 1970's. It wasn't that long ago you could drive almost anywhere you wanted. The number of gates and "No Tresspassing" signs has exploded in the last several decades.
