Who do I Believe on my delivery date?

Tesla assist in the Tesla app says I’m expected delivery 6/19-6/30. I called bc I’ve got a call a few weeks ago from them asking if I’d want to include FSD as I didn’t initially include it. I was also told to complete my pre registration stuff like ID who is on it and if I’ll be trading anything in. When I called the rep said my delivery date is 7/19-9/1. Confused I explained my app said June. She said you need to update it and or uninstall it and reinstall. I updated the app and it still says June. No VIN yet

When It’s close enough, you will pick the date and time that works for you. Till then it’s just ball park. Also, I wouldn’t trust what the AI assistant says at all unless you’re asking it questions like, how does one disengage the seatbelt. The idea of it is sound, however when you have humans involved it’s breaks down. Best example I can give. On my last service appointment, estimated completion was a full week away, app said preparing to fix. In reality tech was out there banging away doing what they do best, of the 4-5 issues on the tickets all said prepare step, next thing you know I get a call trucks finished and app magically skipped the in work, almost done, and flipped straight to done all 4 times nearly at the same time. I mean they could have easily checked the tire pressure and flipped that to completed as soon soon as it pulled in. But people be people and tick all the boxes when they are finished. Versus at each stage.

How about seeing the delivery window pushed four times? From originally 5/7-5/17 to 6/19-6/30. And most likely will push further out once the date gets closer. This is system estimation, and the central logistics team controls what to show in the app.

oh ya its changed several times, someone told me they put in an order on April 20th and got it May 20th and i put mine in May 19tho so thought ok maybe June 19th isnt so unrealistic

yup. Your purchase isn't part of the original containment hold. Buyers who orrdered mid march- early April are still waiting for theirs to get deliver. You app eta should be pretty accurate.
