Wouldn't want them to. Worked in the industry long enough to see several windshields cracked cause a sales person left the wiper arm up unattended.It’s not like you can pull into AutoZone and have them change it.
No sense in leaving the new blade at home. If it’s going to break or need replaced, more than likely it will be on the road.
It’s not like we actually use the rear window to see out of!
Looks like a standard top lock/push button style locking mechanism. In a pinch, could probably get away with using a ~26" blade.
