How does your wiper blade perform?

Had the truck for about 3 weeks now but drove in the rain for the first time yesterday. I noticed that when the blade goes down it leaves a huge gap and misses half the windshield and when it comes back up it misses certain sections sometimes. Certainly this Isn't normal? Anyone else experiencing this? Bad Blade?

I have a SC appointment tomorrow. Should I ask for a new blade?

I noticed that i get a thin smear on the down wipe about 3/4" wide in the center of the blade but the up wipe gets everything. It isn't bad enough for me to really care about though.

Mine works perfectly. I doubt they have one in stock. If you haven’t requested a replacement and your only going in for the repair I’d add it to the service request and let them reschedule your appointment if they need to order it.

I didnt bring it up on my service request. The request I have planned for tomorrow is just to address some panel issues and the front drivers door protruding out about a quarter inch. Was surprised they didnt address the door before delivery to be quite honest.

To be honest I may wait it out a bit @espresso-drumbeat mentioned. We get quite a bit of rain on and off here in Hawaii and I noticed yesterday it did get a bit better during a 10 min continuous drive yesterday in the rain. The only reason I became more concerned was during a short shower, it was used about 10 times and left a giant mark each time. I'd just hate to wait and wait, then they decide they wont fix under warranty.

Mine works great. It’s rained a few times over the past few weeks here on Arrakis (Albuquerque, NM) and got to use my wiper and learn the controls (really fast, LOL). No smears, gaps, or anything. 100% fine for me.
