It’s unfortunate how much of a “we got your money so now you’re not a priority” vibe this whole thing gives off. Someone that buys a CT today and picks in up next week, no 4 year wait, gets their trim pieces included and installed while we early adopters get the cold shoulder.

I love the vehicles but my feelings towards the structure of the company has been taking hit after hit lately.

They will come to the SC, not delivered to your home. I received my email in late July, and had an initial service call after (in which I added the wheel covers and light bar install). The advisor told me that I will get another email for a later SC visit when these items are in. My vehicle is actually back in SC, as we speak, for a continuation of the first visit... and again, the hw has not been received by SC so will not be installed on this visit either.

I agree with you, the whole structure and procedure isn’t ideal and rather disjointed. It almost seems better to have waited till this time now to get a CT instead of 5 months ago. Even with all the issues and problems the SC are ill prepared and have no idea what is going on sometimes. Surely do not feel like a limited/founders owner after paying an extra 20k ??

I don’t know if it’s true or not, but the rumor is they are recalled again for falling off, based on another thread in this forum.

I expected that the truck would have minor issues and Tesla would resolve them as quickly as possible with some respect towards the order in which they were purchased. I don’t think it’s too much to ask that early adopters that know they will be dealing with these little issues are given the parts first/in line with newer deliveries

If it's any consolation, I picked up my CT on Tuesday and it also did not have wheel covers. (or the light bar for that matter)

Can you imagine a new Mercedes or Toyota vehicle coming out without wheel hubs? Early adopter yes, but asking for a complete exterior isn't asking for too much. Tesla generally treat early adopters as beta testers. Not cool.

i have a friend who took delivery in March (low <200 vin), who just got his lightbar from his local SC.

i got mine Beat in may, but will be selling the lightbar. i'm not glueing that thing to my roof....another engineering disaster in the making imo.
