I know its personal preference but I was thinking that having a CT without a paint, I should go for a wrap , which is less expensive that way I can keep changing colors.

In price of 1 PPF, probably can change wraps 2 or 3 times ...

I don’t know much on the topic, but I’m pretty sure that the advantage to PPF is the self-healing properties that you don’t get with vinyl wraps.

PPF is much thicker than regular vinyl wrap. Not only are you getting self-healing on light scratches when heat is applied usually from the sun, it is tougher to damage and harder to chip.

Vinyl is definitely the way to go if your main objective is looks. And to your point, the SS doesn’t need protection from impact. For the same price you can change it more times and there are more color options with vinyl.

I went an hybrid route. Vinyl the entire car plus clear PPF on top of the vinyl for just the hood to protect the vinyl from rock chips.

Interesting and neat idea.

Here is a good video that shows why you might want to consider PPF over a wrap, or at least wrap with PPF on top in the front. In just a couple months he already had rock chips in the wrap.
