I got the @Yeslak protector for the tailgate:

Just wanted something to help protect the plastic when stepping on or dragging things across it.
It was easy to install as it comes with velcro already attached to the mat. The hole for the manual trunk release is a good guide to line up everything. Unless you want to cover up the release to make sure the zombies don’t get out ?
I like that it comes with velcro for attaching to the tailgate. It should help with cleaning and hosing it off.
I do wish it covered more of the area all the way to the edge. Also if the lip was secured a bit more to avoid get snagged on when sliding things from the bed.
