Can you change the mode without being in park?

Tell me more.
Heading out for 8 hour jaunt...it's on one of the screens - program left button. Once set to Dynamics then you hold left steering button (the multi function one) for like two seconds, a popup where the music / tire pressure player is comes up and you rotate the wheel to mode you want...aka beast - 2 steps vs. using the screen (3 steps)....it works well, do agree I'd like a single push to get to beast....that's why im wait for the Cyber Truck Sexy Buttons - hopefully can get those and set one to Beast, one to Custom - so I can alternate

What are everyone’s favorite driving settings?

Most of the time I find myself on a custom setting of Medium ride height, standard acceleration, and focused suspension.

When my wife is in the CT, always on Chill Mode ?
I drive the Beast in Standard mode which has medium height and accelerates faster than most cars and I love to hear the dynamic shocks drop the truck down to exit height when I put it in Park. Then after driving in Standard if I switch to Beast mode the difference is very noticeable even when lightly pressing the GO peddle (Go peddle, one less digit than Gas peddle, haha). Chill is a little too boring kind of like a typical car.
I finally tried the Beast launch mode. Now I know what it feels like to drive one of the fastest vehicles in the world for any price.

Here are the 0-60 mph acceleration times for late model cars from Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche:

Ferrari:
  1. Ferrari SF90 Stradale - 0-60 mph in 2.2 seconds.
  2. Ferrari 812 Superfast - 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds.
  3. Ferrari California GT - 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds.
Lamborghini:
  1. Lamborghini Aventador SVJ - 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds.
  2. Lamborghini Huracán Performante - 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds.
  3. Lamborghini Urus - 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds.
Porsche 911:
  1. Porsche 911 Turbo S - 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds.
  2. Porsche 911 Carrera 4S - 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds.
  3. Porsche 911 GT3 - 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds.

It was a long tortuous wait for the Beast, but I'm thrilled (literally) that I waited.

Glad you’re enjoying the beast! Thanks for the insightful response!
