No test on that yet but we do our best to make it lighter!

Range hit would be nice. I do a 400 mile out and back every week if you need some before/after data over a large data-set let me know.

Also any chance the bolts to make the crossbars move could have handles or thumbscrews on them to be able to move them quickly/easily to accommodate different load configurations?

My truck should be delivered next week and I’m starting to look at roof racks.

I found this product’s website just this morning and was happy to see an alternative to Mars’ version and half the price.

However, I personally think this looks a lot worse than Mars’. It’s probably just as good functionally… but I may still pay the extra for aesthetics.

Apparently November 14 2024 they changed the roof appliqué (with doors) to (without doors).

So the service center says to purchase the roof appliqué (with doors) each side costs $375 cdn so close to $900 just for a couple little doors. Hopefully the roof appliqué that come with the new trucks can be cut easily so not to waste money.

What a terrible downgrade to save a couple cents on a mount door. The mounting points are to be there still but for some reason they changed it, now they have to maintain 2 pieces.

Thank you for your interest in our products! Regarding the weight capacity, each crossbar can support at least 150 pounds, with the entire system capable of carrying up to 600 pounds total. MARS system is straight bottom edge therefore doesn't exactly follow slight curvature of roof line. Does this product have a straight bottom edge or curved to match roof line?

This is a form-fitted piece, it will align perfectly with the roof line!

It was always my understanding that only the Foundation or Cyberbeast editions would get 4 roof mount points. So, I was actually surprised it was available on the basic model at all.

That leads to a question that @Cybergear can hopefully answer. Does your rack mount to a basic all-wheel-drive cybertruck without the front most mount points?

Mars offers a version that does not need the front mounting points. Hopefully Cybergear does too.
