Polished Cybertruck Gets Aftermarket Wheels.jpeg

On reflection, is this a good idea!?!?!
Bugger it....l love!
Have considered this before, but the amount of Brasso needed put me off!
In the '80s l was 'famous' for hand cutting Prestige Cars, especially for Concourse.
I bought a RUPES polisher in the '90s....

Need to get a picture of the truck parked in front of a large mirror (window?), so we can see the CT to infinity and beyond effect.

Think the wheels are these, but maybe OP can verify. It would be interesting to hear their experience getting these.
Certainly looks like same!

I think these are the best looking aftermarket wheels I have seen so far. Sadly, also looks like you need to buy new tires as well.

It is very cool in bright day light, I wonder if there will be any state laws against this mirror finish on any cars that could cause some confusion for other road users, specially at dawn/dusk /lower visibility times and lead to road safety hazard.

At night all you see are a car's lights anyway, regardless of color.

Imagine in an intersection with low light condition and due to lack of large visible side markers LED lights. looking into mirror finish , in an instant you may see your headlights reflected from mirror finish only at twice the distance!... and or even FSD Camera could potentially miss to detect another CT rather than a polished mirror finish reflecting the picture of the road, lines , etc... rather than detecting actual another CT prependicular to your driving direction. or even someone might be making a 3 point turn in a narrow road slowly etc...
