I bought these a few weeks ago and like them BUT only 3 of 4 worked properly (turning on when the door was opened and off when closed) so they are sending me a single unit to replace the malfunctioning one. They have magnets on the back for sticking, but they aren't very strong ones so I concur some double-sided tape will secure further.

Yes fully chargerd they will last arounf 45 days

I got my replacement one and it works properly. As for charging, I have a charger that has multiple cables that come out of the end, one of which is mini usb so that isn't really a problem for me. So far mine are staying in place with the magnets but I'm still thinking of adding something else if they start to move around on me or my passengers. They do look really nice at night and the green matches my truck's theme.
